the train ride was nice and pleasant. i like that the doors only open when you push that button, it totally saves electricity, and its also very quiet. heh. that billboard was one of our first sights at freo. quite meaningful huh. (: the shops were all quite quaint. they sold quite specialised stuff. the skies were such a nice tinge of blue. i really like what the tote bag says: “downsize. simplify. spend more time with the people you care about.. buy less stuff. it brings such a short lived joy. sit by the river and enjoy your favourite drink with a real friend or in peace on your own. live your life to the full.” — Samantha Donovan freo has nice old architecture, and lots of graffitti too! and it just makes me think of hemingway and sea towns like in the movie, Australia.
